Tavolette in paraffina colorata, soldatini di plastica con le parti inferiori delle gambe immerse nel liquido solidificato e slogan incisi presi principalmente dal mondo pubblicitario o comunque mediatico.
La paraffina è materiale insapore e inodore, untuosa al tatto, impiegato principalmente nella fabbricazione di candele, lubrificanti, isolanti elettrici, per la patinatura della carta, per produrre gomme da masticare e, per la qualità di agente filmante, è molto usato nel settore cosmetico per la sensazione di levigatezza e morbidezza che dà alla pelle e per proteggerla dagli attacchi esterni. Viene inoltre usato in campo culinario per proteggere i cibi, come formaggi e insaccati, dalla muffa e dall'umidità.
Le tavolette sono estremamente labili, facili alla rottura e sensibili ai cambiamenti di temperatura.

The paraffin is a tasteless and odourless material, oily to the touch, mainly used in the construction of candles, lubricants, electrical insulator, for the paper coating, to produce chewing gum and it’s widely used in cosmetics for the sensation of smoothness and softness that gives to the skin and to protect it from external attack. Is also used in the culinary field to protect foods, like cheeses and salamis, by mould and moist.
The tablets are extremely vulnerable, easy to break and sensitive to temperature changes.
